Speckles the Mom.

Copper the Dad.

Speckles and Copper are AKC registered Beagles that were bred on May. 6th 2005.
This will be the third litter for Speckles and the second with Copper.
The second litter of puppies from Speckles produced 9 beagle puppies.
Speckles is a liver beagle while Copper is a traditional Tri-color beagle.
There are two sizes of beagles. The 13 and 15 inch varieties.
The AKC has a height limit of a Beagle for the United States as 15 inches.
Speckles is smaller than a 15 inch beagle while Copper is barely taller than 13 inches.
We anticipate this batch of beagles to be wonderful!

These puppies should be 13" Beagles. Note - There is no garantee two 13" Beagle parents will not produce a 15" Beagle.
Speckles is closer to 15" and would be considered a 15" Beagle.
All puppies from the last litter we have been able to keep track of would be considered 13" Beagles. Some of the cutest Beagles you will find.

Beagles do not drool or have a doggy odor, and shedding is minimal.
The Beagle's coat is short and requires minimal grooming. A regular
brushing and bath will help control the shedding process.

No Beagle should be allowed to roam free, as its nose will surely get it into trouble.

Future Beagle owners should be aware that Beagles are known to bark as part of their hunting heritage.

We take speckles hiking and bike riding. These dogs were bred to hunt
and run. Speckles can stay with me as I ride my mountain bike. She runs
like a Lab yet is small enough to sleep on the bed. We love our beagle!
For more information on Beagles visit the AKC Beagle website.
The gestation period for a Beagle is 63 days however,
last time Speckles only waited 60 days before the puppies arrived!
